Originating in 1942 as a tomato canning company in California’s Central Valley, Teasdale Latin Foods has become a well-established brand in the Latin Food market. Over time, we have evolved, currently boasting six manufacturing facilities and a diverse range of products that cater to various distribution channels. We offer a variety of items such as canned and refried beans, sauces, salsas, tortillas, taco shells, meal kits, and other pantry staples. As the largest independent, full-line supplier of high-quality private label, branded, and co-manufactured Hispanic and Latino-inspired food, Teasdale is the premier producer of hominy and is committed to quality, authentic products that cater to Latin American cuisine’s diverse tastes and traditions.

Quick Facts
A total of ~20MM pounds ($4MM) of edible corn is purchased from California farmers each year to support the Atwater facility Hominy production.
A total of ~15MM pounds ($5.5MM) of tomatoes are purchased from California farmers each year to support Salsa, Taco Sauce & BBQ sauce production needs for Teasdale’s facilities.
About $80MM (retail value) of product – Hominy & beans – are produced in Atwater and shipped to California restaurants and grocery stores each year.
